It exhibits flexibility, compressibility, high porosity, and strong pollutant-trapping capacity; during operation, the pore structure of the filter bed is coarser at the top and finer at the bottom, conforming to the ideal pore distribution for a filtration layer; its specific gravity is slightly greater than that of water, making it easy to backwash repeatedly, and its high-quality material boasts excellent wear resistance and chemical corrosion resistance.
