Aeration hose

We primarily provide a comprehensive range of ancillary products for water supply and wastewater treatment systems, including trash interception, chemical dosing and reaction, sedimentation, water collection, sludge removal, and filtration, as well as biological media and aerators for wastewater treatment projects.

I. Overview:

1. The variable-orifice aeration hose incorporates a novel design concept—variable orifices, thin walls, straight flow channels, and slit principles—allowing the orifice size to dynamically adjust in response to changes in air flow. This ensures more uniform aeration, prevents clogging, and makes the device highly efficient and energy-saving.
2. The variable-orifice aeration hose is a flexible, tubular aerator made of chemically reinforced, modified plastic. During aeration, the hose expands; when aeration is suspended, hydrostatic pressure flattens it, thereby effectively preventing sludge backflow to a certain extent. It provides uniform air distribution and achieves high oxygen utilization efficiency. This product has been widely applied in industries such as petrochemicals, oil refining, coking, printing, pharmaceuticals, brewing, industrial wastewater treatment, and municipal sewage treatment.

II. Structure and Features:
1. The material is fiber-reinforced, modified PVC plastic.
2. Excellent acid and alkali resistance, moderate bubble size, and stable operation.
3. The inner and outer surfaces of the aeration hose are smooth, making it resistant to biofilm formation.
4. The optimal spacing for the aeration hose arrangement is 400–600 mm, with the hoses positioned 300–400 mm above the tank bottom.
III. Main Technical Parameters of Aeration Hoses:

Project Inner diameter Wall thickness Stomatal density Service Area Standard Ventilation Rate Ventilation range Chlorine utilization rate
(Water depth 4 meters)
Resistance loss
Unit mm mm pieces/meter mm m 3/h.m m 3/h.m% kPa
Parameters 63 2600  0.5-1.0    3.0  0-5.0 16.1 3.2

Note: Based on practical experience, it is recommended to select an aeration rate of 3 m³/h·m or higher in engineering design, with an oxygen utilization efficiency of 11% being optimal. Pore diameter: linear medium-to-micro pores, 5.0–6.5 mm. Engineering design: 0.5–0.7 MPa blower, effective water depth s = 3.8 m.
