Honeycomb inclined tube

Applications: Inclined tubes are primarily used for water clarification, secondary sand removal in wastewater treatment, and sludge settling. Materials: Copolymer-grade polypropylene (PP), PVC, and fiberglass-reinforced plastic. Apertures: Medium 25, 32, Medium 35, 50, Medium 80, Medium 100. Sheet thickness: 0.42–1.5 mm. Hole shapes: equilateral hexagon, mountain shape, and half-hexagon staggered pattern. Inclination angle: 60°.

Features: The inclined tubes manufactured at our plant exhibit sharp, well-defined edges and corners; robust welding and bonding ensure secure assembly; the assembled units are neatly aligned and aesthetically pleasing, with a smooth surface, high overall structural strength, and excellent sludge-sliding performance.
Physicochemical properties of copolymer-grade polypropylene:

All performance characteristics comply with the “Hygiene Standard for Polypropylene Molded Products.”
Requirements for supports of inclined pipes:
1. The support structure shall be fabricated from rigid materials, with a design load-bearing capacity of 300 kg/m² under dry conditions.
2. Regardless of the pool geometry, sloped-tube supports shall be designed to minimize their impact on the flow cross-section. For circular pools, round steel bars may be installed atop the main load-bearing beams; for square pools, it is preferable to use vertical flat steel sections directly as load-bearing beams, with separate primary and secondary beams.
3. At the bottom of each unit of inclined-tube modules, there shall be no fewer than two evenly distributed load-bearing beams (reinforcing bars) in direct contact with the module to ensure uniform stress distribution.
4. If the orifices of the inclined tubes exhibit significant deformation and excessive sludge accumulation, intensified flushing is required to prevent collapse of the inclined-tube supports.
Operating requirements for inclined tubes:
1. In inclined-tube settlers, sludge accumulation per unit area of water passage is greater than in horizontal-flow sedimentation tanks; therefore, sludge removal should be carried out promptly, regular maintenance is required, and specific operating procedures must be in place.
2. During installation, the inclined tubes shall be positioned so that the angle between the water flow direction inside the tubes and the incoming water distribution direction is minimized.
3. When the inclined tubes are not submerged in water, they shall be protected from direct sunlight and freezing, and insulated to prevent deformation and aging.
4. When the plastic inclined tubes reach their service life or experience significant deformation of the apertures, they shall be replaced promptly to prevent excessive sludge accumulation from degrading effluent quality.
