Water decanter
We primarily provide a comprehensive range of ancillary products for water supply and wastewater treatment systems, including trash interception, chemical dosing and reaction, sedimentation, water collection, sludge removal, and filtration, as well as biological media and aerators for wastewater treatment projects.
I. Main Uses
The LXBS-type rotary decanter is widely used in municipal wastewater treatment as well as in the treatment of various industrial wastewaters, including those from the paper, beer, leather, and pharmaceutical industries. During the effluent withdrawal phase, it skims the treated supernatant from the water surface, making it a critical piece of equipment in wastewater treatment processes.
II. Operating Principle
This equipment employs a rotary, electric-actuator design: during operation, the drive unit actuates the push rod, causing the decanter to descend gradually at a controlled speed to the water surface (within the specified stroke range), thereby immersing the weir crest below the water level. The supernatant liquid then flows over the weir crest, is collected by the branch collection pipes, routed to the main collection pipe, and discharged. Upon stopping, the push rod again raises the decanter, lifting the weir crest above the water surface, thus completing one decanting cycle.

V. Main Features
1. The equipment features a compact structure, smooth operation, easy overall installation, and low operating costs;
2. Exhibits strong adaptability to variations in water quality and flow rate, with a decanting depth of up to 3.0 m; for a treatment capacity Q < 1,000 m³/h, a single push rod is used; for Q ≥ 1,000 m³/h, a dual push rod configuration is employed.
3. A scum baffle is installed at the effluent weir to ensure smooth effluent discharge during equipment operation. The system is equipped with variable-frequency drive control and PLC-based automatic and process control, facilitating convenient operation and management.
