I. Product Applications

The LXZS rotary screen cleaner (also known as a rotary solid–liquid separator) is an advanced solid–liquid separation device for water treatment. It is primarily used at the inlet of municipal wastewater treatment plants, residential community sewage pretreatment facilities, municipal stormwater and sewage pumping stations, waterworks, and cooling-water systems in power plants. This equipment is also widely employed in raw-water screening applications across various industries, making it an ideal solution for solid–liquid separation.
II. Structure and Operating Principle

This equipment employs a rotary design, in which specially shaped plow-like rake teeth are arranged in a specific assembly sequence along a horizontal shaft to form a rake-tooth chain. Depending on the water flow rate, the chain is configured with varying gap sizes and installed at the raw-water inlet. As the drive mechanism rotates the rake-tooth chain from bottom to top, debris in the water is lifted by the chain while the liquid passes through the gaps. Upon reaching the upper apex of the rotation, the chain reverses direction and moves downward, allowing the collected material to fall off under its own weight. When the rake teeth return to the bottom of the unit from the reverse side, the cycle resumes, continuing in a continuous reciprocating motion that continuously removes debris from the water and achieves solid–liquid separation.
III. Main Features
1. The drive unit employs a cycloidal pinwheel or helical gear reducer for direct electric drive, featuring low noise, a compact structure, and smooth operation.

5. To prevent accidental overloading, the equipment is equipped with both a mechanical shear pin and overcurrent protection, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
6. When the equipment width exceeds 1,500 mm, a parallel-unit configuration will be adopted to ensure overall structural integrity, enabling continuous removal of debris from the water and achieving solid–liquid separation.
